The Sound of Eigg

The Sound of Eigg is a composition of field recordings made over 25 days between 5th March and 3rd April 2020.

Recorded in all conditions from Gallanach Bay, Isle of Muck, overlooking the Sound and Isle of Eigg, and presented as one minute-per-day, it spans the Spring equinox, a gradual change in seasons and the first month of the Coronavirus pandemic in the UK.

It also documents my early experiments with the Zoom h5n recorder and the day-on-day outcomes that I learned from.
